The week of the 17th is my birthday so you can send me big bags of money to my e-mail address. I know it's a cheap ploy for money, this week we talk about the war that is slowly growing between TNA wrestling and WWE. Back in the day as everyone knows it was WCW and WWF going toe to toe on this war. However when VKM bought WCW and smashed it to shit, there was several things at play. One being less places for guys to work and two, a lot of guys were out of jobs. Including Jeff Jarrett who was fired public ally on Monday Night Raw the night Vince took over WCW. Jarrett went out and started TNA Wrestling. Standing for Total Non Stop Action Wrestling. TNA quickly became a place for guys who were fired by VKM but could still go, a place to work. TNA started out on PPV{Pay-Per-View} with doing 2 hr 1 time per week PPV events for 10 bucks. These were action packed shows with everything from Scott Hall and Sting returns to wrestling. New stars emerged such as AJ Styles and others.

TNA got a hold of old ECW and WWE talent. When Vince bought WCW he also bought ECW and so lots of guys were out of jobs and came to TNA. Shane Douglas from ECW and others such as K-Kwik and New Age Outlaw member Road Dog came to TNA and people from Mexico's AAA promotion found their way to TNA. TNA quickly made short work of places and people who did not have jobs and gave 1 time appearances to stars of the past such as Hulk Hogen, Road Warriors, and Jim Duggan. When Rhino was fired by WWE, he showed up in TNA and became the Rhino that ECW fans fell in love with.

Christian and Kurt Angle came to TNA wrestling once TNA got some steam up and got on major TV. Spike TV and Fox Sports gave TNA a shot at the big time. Christan's was the first man to make the leap to TNA. Frustrated by a lackluster push in WWE on Smack down, in the US title division. Christan's made the leap to TNA and quickly was given a push and became the World champion and proved that he could be the man in the company. However since TNA's schedule allows them to be outside active as well. Christian's title run was stagnated by a movie run in Canada. Kurt Angle was the next big name to jump ship. One factor being the schedule of TNA taping shows and 1 ppv per month and no house show or light house show schedule to speak of. Two, Kurt was not being pushed in the new ECW and was actually demoted to the 3rd brand. Kurt got fed up and asked to be released and made the move to Orlando.

WWE stars moving sooner than later will be something Vince will have to deal with. He has way to much talent and not enough spots. For instance RVD got a push but was busted on Weed charges and busted down and is now a mid card talent in the New ECW when he should be the leader of the brand. RVD will make the move to TNA and become the man and get what he should have gotten in the old Ecw and that was respect. Men on raw and Smackdown will make the move and it will be something Vince will have to deal with. Shelton Benjamin will move eventually to the TNA show. Talk of Rey Jr. who was champ and not pushed and locked into a horrid storyline with Chavo over Eddie's death. Rey Jr. is rumored to be done with WWE next spring and could move.

Prime time spot on Spike TV showcased the power of TNA and shows they know how to build stars and can be in the big leagues with the WWE. Even that it was taped and 2 hrs, the show could work on a larger scale. TNA could move to Tuesday nights and crush the new ECW. TNA could move to Friday and crush Smack down easily. However the talk has centered around a move to Monday Nights. Raw does not have the talent to compete with TNA and if they did, Vince could not push them enough to do so. Only way Vince could compete is merge all 3 brands and just blow TNA's doors off, However, he would not do that because of merchandise, spots on the show and touring.

My thoughts on TNA vs. WWE, I like it from a stand point where I can get existed about wrestling again. Second it will drive Vince to become better and get things going again and he can prove why he is VKM. TNA has the star power to put it to Vince and can become the big 2 or maybe the big number 1. TNA is still young and they do not want to compete with Vince they want to be the number 2 company and expand slowly but surly but it can be interesting if given enough time to get the job done.
