The 2008 right side of the isle is filled with a long line of jobbers and losers but as everyone knows I lean more to the right side of the isle rather than left leaning ideology However let's look at the 2008 losers and by losers, the guys who have not backed out the race for the white house. Now the withdrawn candidates looks like a who's who of guys who can not get it done. Jim Gilmore from Virginia the former governor withdrew due to money problems. Now I had not heard of this guy, so no big loss. Tommy Thompson who is the former Governor of Wisconsin and he dropped out due to poor numbers in the straw poll. So guess what if the chips are down and some playground game does not go your way, drop out. Sam Brown back, he is from Kansas and he could not raise enough money and I personally hate the guy for other reasons. So good ridense to bad rubbish. Then you had some guy named John Cox, he was the first to sign up and the first to leave, at least the guy is constant Duncan Hunter and Tom Tancredo, both reps from Cali and Colorado{Respectively}. They both left cause no support, so I guess I will not support them by giving no more thoughts on them. Fred Thompson, now I loved Fred and I thought he really could have went further and he had all sorts of support, but due to money he dropped out. I loved Fred due to the video he put out calling out Michael Moore and others in the liberal machine. I knew it was over when Fred had a video surface of him talking to the elderly and when asked why they should vote, he said, "Who else you gonna vote for." That should have been followed by the death march.Plus Fed Thompson's wife really wanted to be President{considering she got him into the race} Plus she is a piece of ass like Dennis K's woman is a hot bitch.
Let's look at the filed of 5 that has to get people on the republicans side to vote for them and have them face off with the blue stater in November. Mitt Romney in my opion has the best shot to get going. Mitt is the gov of Massachusetts and he has the look of a president and he has the knowledge coming from small business and making it work{Unlike W who cam from failed small business}. Mitt has the issues he has run into on the trail and has dealt well with it. It does not matter if he is a mormon and he can def. Can do great things, he has been the man who brought the Olympics to Salt Lake and they made tons of money. Mitt is got a good shot and can unite the base if he can get the nomination for president.
Ron Paul is next on the list and good gawd, go away more room for us. Come on, Ron has all the pot heads, free thinkers, tree huggers and whores on his side. Ron Paul held a fund raiser at the Bunny Ranch in Nevada and he has all the coffee drinking hipsters behind them. I do not know if it's creative marketing or these people are just that out of the loop. Let's look at this, Paul is running as a Rep. And all these hippies do not like Bush and Regan but they sure as hell can vote for Paul{So your telling me, one is good but one is not, come on}. He voted against tons of things the Rep. Like{So your telling me, they will vote for a guy who votes against the party line, hell if that is the case let's get all the red starters to vote Clinton. He has tons of money and keeps raising it, just run as a Libertarian as you did in 1988 and be the next Nader or Perot.
John McCain, he has the US senator from Arizona card and he has been to nam and he has a great background. He had the bus back in the day and he is funny on the comedy shows. John does not have the base around him and does not have the biggest voice in the Rep. Side on his side and that is Rush Limbaugh. John had voted back in the day to ban UFC and NHB matches. John has a lot of good points and I would love to see a former Vietnam vet win the big one. So many of them came back tore up and messed up. It would be great to see one of them make it and then help all of his brothern and the Iraq vets. However in some states they already are swift boating him.
Mike Crackable..Come on I have one word and that is Colbert. Why would anyone on the Dem side vote for a Red guy. So going on Colbert is wasting your time, he has Chuck Norris in his corner so now he is going to grab the Pop Culture vote and he is Mr. Comedy during the debates. So let me see here, Crackable is the former Governor of Arkansas, He has that Clinton like charm that has overtaken the party same way Clinton did with the Dem's.
Rudy Giuliani is the former Mayor of New York and is got one message and that is 911. Now Rudy has a lot of support with Hannity and others who have a big voice in the red state world. However Rudy can not get any traction in the debates. Rudy has failed to gain votes or many in the primary's and he also has put all his eggs in the basket of Florida. If he can not win, he is going to be screwed. Rumor is he is running out of cash to buy ads and is telling staffers to wait on money cause he can not pay them. Rudy also became a target of the media early on with his pictures of him in drag, the scandals with his current and ex wives, plus now his issues with former members of his staff in NYC being tied to the mob and all of them being on the take for different organizations.
My view on this and who I like to go against the left would be to pick someone like a Mitt, but I will tell you. Ron Paul has the money and votes and could maybe bring the young people that obama has to against the young people that he has. However, the old guard of the party will not go with Paul and most likely sit it out and not vote. However I would go with Mitt cause Rudy can not win due to money and scandal McCain can not get the base and or anyone to help him out except the voters and in the race for the white house we all know, that this means that you need Hannity, Rush and others who listen to these guys. Mike Crackable is running low on cash and may not be in this thing any longer and maybe could run as an independent However I think Nader and Paul may run as independents so who knows. However on it's face, Mitt is the best one to lead the party of big business into the Battle for the White House.
Finally I would like to wrap up the field of 2008 from the right side of the isle. The issues here is a lot of these guys want to get away from W and get back to Regan principals and want to return the party to something to be proud of instead of a war that no matter where it goes ends badly. A money structure in the country that has made everyone regard less of party line, no money. Now who the frick thinks that the Rep can win without a common goal is nuts same thing that the Democrats are having.
